Juliane Block is an award-winning director, producer, and designer based in Germany. She co-founded the independent production company Raav Films in 2022 with long-time collaborator Wolf-Peter Arand, with whom she has been creating internationally distributed films since 2012.
After earning her Master's degree in Design from the University of Arts Braunschweig in 2003, Juliane lived and worked across Asia from 2005 to 2011 before returning to Germany. In recent years, Juliane has transitioned toward family-friendly content and storytelling through stop-motion animation, which she began exploring in 2021.
