T.J. Mokhuane is a South African actor, writer and comedian who is known for his roles in TV hits such as The River, Isithembiso, Lithapo and BET Africa's Isono to name a few.

Born as Thato Mokhuane in the dusty streets of Itsoseng in the North West province, he is of Setswana origin.

In 2017, Mokhuane dropped out of his BCom degree in the NWU-Puk (North West University, Potchefstroom) to pursue an acting career. He continued to the University of Johannesburg where he studied film and television and landed his debut role as "Tshepo" on the international Emmy nominated and SAFTA (Golden Horn) winning telenovela, The River. This saw him taking on more roles on other award winning shows like Isithembiso (Mzansi Magic), Lithapo (SABC 2), Isono (BET International).

In 2022, was the writer for the SAFTA nominated talk show, Mzansi Icons, that was hosted by Maps Maponyane.
