R. Mark Ramey is a cinematographer and producer, known for The Unconventional Gourmet (2016), Keep Your Distance (2005), Behind the Scenes (2017), Nashville (2013) and for over 200 episodes of Stacey David's GearZ (2007).
He began his career working on local and regional commercials and corporate projects. Eventually working on multiple series of commercials for Ringling Brothers, Barnum & Bailey Circus and Disney on Ice. Earning a Regional Addy Award in 1987 for a Ringling Brother's commercial "Gunther's Best and Last" commemorating the final tour of Gunther Gebel-Williams.
A stint at Scene Three Productions brought experience on countless music videos and live music productions as well as more national commercials for clients like Ford, Toyota and Dixie Crystals Sugar.
Throughout the 1990's there were more music videos for multiple genres, feature films and MOWs before moving primarily into work for television, from a block of shows airing on TNN Outdoors in the early 2000's to day playing on shows like Nashville (2013 - 2018), Tell Me A Story (2019), Young Rock (2022) to over 16 years as Cinematographer for Stacey David's GearZ (2009 - 2025).
