Acclaimed veteran actor and 1923 star Harrison Ford recently revealed why he signed on for the Taylor Sheridan Yellowstone prequel series. Ford stars alongside Helen Mirren in the show that debuted its second season this week.

While addressing if 1923 had been pitched to him as a two-season story and if that plan had changed, Ford recalled one of the major reasons he decided to board the project. "I think everybody (laughs) remembers different parts of this story," he said to The Hollywood Reporter. "For instance, I thought that I was told that Helen had already signed on, so that was the bait [for me], and she was told that I was signed on," Ford continued, with Mirren, who was also present, good-humoredly declaring, "I'm the carrot!"

Sebastian Roche weighed in on the possibility of returning to General Hospital a decade after his last appearance in Port Charles.

If you were unaware, the 60-year-old 1923 actor played Jerry Jacks on the popular soap opera and made his debut in 2007. He hasn’t been featured in an episode since 2015, though the character’s name has been referenced as recently as 2019.

Speaking with Forbes, Sklenar teases a big tone shift for 1923 Season 2 as he'll share more screen time with co-leads Harrison Ford (Jacob Dutton) and Helen Mirren (Cara Dutton), who play the Dutton family patriarch and matriarch. The acclaimed Yellowstone spinoff series, 1923, could be closer to getting cameras rolling after a long production delay due to last year's WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. A new report offers a major progress update on Season 2 of the Taylor Sheridan-created series.

Per Statesman, a new document from the City of Austin has revealed that 1923 Season 2 will begin production in July in Austin, Texas. Principal photography for the Western drama series is expected to run through the summer, concluding in September, with all production operations happening in Austin.

According to the Austin Business Journal, Season 2 will begin filming in South Austin. Butte-Silver Bow County in Montana was previously the series' shooting location. 1923 has also been filmed in Malta, Kenya, and South Africa. J.P. Gallagher, the chief executive of the show's former Montana home, discussed the decision.

Exclusive: Management firm Elevate Entertainment is adding a podcast division.

The new unit, called Highwire, is set to launch with an initial slate of four unscripted podcasts. It will produce both unscripted and scripted podcasts featuring Elevate talent as well as unaffiliated guests spanning several global industries. Deadline is told that shows will center on A-list talent from the worlds of sports and business, as well as notables from film and television who will share never-before-told stories. Details of the initial slate will be announced at a future date as contract terms are finalized.

Elevate’s talent roster includes the likes of Yellowstone co-creator Taylor Sheridan, Jacki Weaver, Vinnie Jones, Gratiela Brancusi and Sebastian Roche.
