Mohamed Mehdi Rebah (Mehdi R2M) was born Februar 18, 1983 in Tunis, Tunisia in a family in which music has always a big place.
As a child, he was rocked by classical Sufi and oriental melodies.
Growing up, he quickly entered the world of hip-hop, text songs and even jazz. And he ended up creating his own rich style of these various inspirations: the R'N'Tounsi (Rhythms and Tounsi).
Mehdi R2M is also famous for his performances as actor in many series, movies as well as TV and radio shows, he creates or moderates. He entered the world of cinema by composing and interpreting the credits of the film « Making Of (Kamikaze) » (2006) by Nouri Bouzid where he started to be attracted by this world. This experience allowed him also to be for the first time on stage at the famous Festival of Carthage in July 2008.
In 2010, after several appearances in national and international festivals, he released his first album « Men Beb el Beb » and the titles « Obama » and « L'ambouba » would become the hits of the year. During this same period, he experienced the role of actor for the first time by appearing in the Tunisian series "Njoum elill 2" (2009).
In 2011, he moved to Egypt, where he found success by writing and composing « khalina nehlam » (let us dream) in collaboration with a group of Tunisian and Egyptian artists. Egypt also inspired him in the titles « Ena Tounsi », « Mouchir » and « Boulisse ». A few months later, he was guest in the biggest TV show in the Middle East « Albernameg » (2012), hosted by Bassem Youssef.
When he came back to Tunisia (2012), he decided to focus on his career as an actor. He took part in the team of the TV program « Labess » by writing sketches for other comedians and for himself in a humor context. This experience gave him the opportunity to get a role as comedian in the series « Dipanini ».
In the summer of 2013, he wrote the script of the series « Ti Hassilou » where he played the second role and in the same year he was one of the actors of the series « Layem » which was a big success that time.
At the end of 2013, he launched his first cultural and musical TV show « Intebeh Ech Qal » on Moutawasset, which will earn him recognition from professionals in the field.
In 2014, Mehdi R2M started a new experience to becomes a radio host at IFM in his show « Khon'art Lahad » then commentator in the show « Azouza Show » where he writes, composes and performs a song every day. But He kept writing and composing for himself and he released titles such as « Zawelli », « Chlak Chlak », « Okhroj men Mokhi » and « Che Gevara » dealing with topics related to the news of the country and the world.
Mehdi R2M is always asked to perform in many concerts such as the 50th edition of the « Carthage Festival » (2014) or the « Tunisian Song Festival » (2021).
