Stanislava Kalcheva graduated in Film and TV Directing at the National Academy for Theatre and Film Art, Sofia in 1981. In 1981-91 she worked as an assistant director and film director at Boyana Film Studios. Since 1991 she has been a free-lancer. Director of three fiction films and of the documentaries:
