  • Based his new autobiographical ABC series Les Goldberg (2013) on old videos he had started shooting of his family in suburban Jenkintown, PA when he was 11 years old, in the 1980s.
  • Educated at the Quaker-founded William Penn Charter School in his native Philadelphia, and Stagedoor Manor Performing Arts Training Center in New York. Goldberg graduated from New York University in 1998 after double-majoring in film and dramatic writing.
  • Scripted a 2007 remake of Les Tronches (1984) starring Adam Brody, but after three weeks of filming, the project was canceled.
