Director Lucky McKee reported in Fangoria Magazine that, Luckett played the character 'May' in several of his original student films. According to Fangoria and McKee, Jammes Luckett lived on a co-ed dorm room floor with Lucky McKee and several other people that worked on 'May' at the University of Southern California.

She was the only member of Alien Tempo Experiment 13, who also wrote and performed a number of songs in 'May'. Jammes was also the Music Supervisor for the movie (then credited as 'Jaye Barnes-Luckett').

After running and operating an indie label called Go Little Records for five years, and performing in Alien Tempo Experiment 13 for a number of years, Jammes Luckett combined and changed both into a new music project called Poperratic, to focus on her work as a recording artist, songwriter and film composer.
