Claire Ross-Brown was born in Chelsea, London. Her father is English and her mother, although English, is of Italian and Malaysian ancestry. Claire studied at the Corona Stage Academy, now called Ravenscourt Theatre School. Claire's acting debut was in the long running successful English TV series East Enders and there after films such as The Rainbow by Ken Russell. Whilst at stage school Claire became one of the first lingerie models for the well-known high street chain C & A. It was a controversial campaign at the time as she was only 14 years of age and lingerie was a new concept for such young girls. After some years away from acting, where she focused on her studying, Claire then did a 4 year stint as a Head Hunter in Banking and Finance (She was 19 years of age at the time and the youngest in her company to do this job)

Missing her true passion, Claire returned to the screen appearing in the cable TV show Agony in England for 2 years. The series ended and Claire met a Danish man where after she decided to try living in a new country. In 1999 Claire moved to Copenhagen, Denmark. Stating at the time, that she knew it was perhaps one of the worst decisions career wise, she succeeded where no other foreigner had. Claire learned the Danish language which is classed as the second hardest language to learn in the world due to it's incomprehensible pronunciation and she went on to land a leading role in the Danish cult series Clown Klovn. Claire plays her own name in the series and is known in Denmark as Claire from Clown. Clown (Danish: Klovn) was Denmark's most successful comedy ever in Danish history, hence Claire's breakthrough into the Danish film and TV market. Claire stars alongside comedians Casper Christensen, Frank Hvam and actress Iben Hjejle from High Fidelity.

In 2008 Claire came out with her first album called Complexity - she wrote all the lyrics and melodies herself, completing a life long dream of producing an album of her own. Along with the album came a few music videos where Claire did her own stunts. She is known in Denmark for her athletic abilities, which include kick-boxing and running marathons. After her break through in Denmark, Claire's set her sights further. Starting with smaller roles in the film The Black Pimpernail with Michael Nyquist and Love me Forever with Dougray Scott. Claire frequently appears as herself in shows such as Come Dine With Me and Master chef amongst others and is one of the main English voice over artists in Denmark.

In 2012 Claire appears in films: In Real Life by Danish director Jonas Elmer and The Stranger Inside which stars William Baldwin and Estella Warren. Claire is also the new face of Intraceuticals for 2012.

Claire is ambassador for a children's charity called Children and Young in Need and for Human Trafficking amongst others.
