Biography

Dokyeom, professionally known as DK, was born in Suji-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. He is a member of the South Korean boy group SEVENTEEN under Pledis Entertainment. His birth name is Lee Seokmin. The meaning behind his real name is that Seok means 'big' and Min means 'precious gem stone'. It means to be a big existence like a precious gem stone. He graduated from the prestigious Seoul High School of Performing Arts (SOPA). DK is a vocalist in the group and part of the Vocal sub unit of Seventeen along with members Jeonghan, Joshua, Woozi and Seungkwan.
