In Lifetime's Secret Lives of Housewives (2022) (2022), Charlie plays a leading role as a smart, sensitive teen who is film's surprise killer. In the coming-of-age feature film The Grand Strand (2025) (2024), he has a leading role as a fun-loving, wannabe athlete who uses his quick wit to hide his insecurities. His character's irreverent humor often provides comedic relief in this otherwise dramatic film. In the sports drama Never Give Up (2023) (2023), Charlie plays the teenage version of the film's lead protagonist, a deaf tennis player growing up in the 1970s. The role shows Charlie's real-life tennis skills and offers an empathetic portrayal of a deaf teen persisting in a hearing world.

While being a film actor is his first love, Charlie is also an avid sports fan and enjoys watching everything from high school to professional level teams. He is active with his high school's Sports Network and is often in the press box announcing games or covering a live stream. In 2022 Charlie created The Insider, a sports show in which he interviews varsity coaches and athletes at his school. He uncovers the personal stories behind these accomplished players and coaches. He handles all aspects of production, from booking the guest to filming and editing the interviews. Charlie also loves the outdoors. He has earned his Eagle Scout, the highest rank within the Boy Scouts of America.
