Brendan (Spitfire Paddy) Finucane was a WWII Spitfire Pilot who, at the age of only 21 became the youngest ever RAF Wing Commander Flying, at Hornchurch having been credited with 32 enemy aircraft destroyed. This film was made with the full support of the Finucane family with one of them actually appearing in the film.
