Ravi Kumar, born Siwan and brought up in Ranchi, is a direction and screenplay-writing alumnus from the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata (2016). He has written the successful film Pati Patni Aur Woh, ZEE 5 original film Shukranu, and the T.V. series Hum Saaf Saaf Hain (broadcast on Rishtey T.V). He has also assisted directors like Anirudh Roy Chaudhari, Gajraj Rao on various ad films, Mudassar Aziz on feature films Happy Phir Bhag Jayegi and Pati Patni Aur Who and Bhav Dhuliya on a Netflix series titled "Bihar Diaries" (Produced by Neeraj Pandey's production house Friday Storytellers LLP).
