2024 has been a roller coaster ride for filmmakers and audiences as they witnessed a succession of blockbuster successes and unexpected disasters.

From Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Karam and Prabhas’ Kalki to Jr. Ntr’s Devara and the much-awaited lag (2023)-the end of the year Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule—Tollywood has not only flaunted its stars but also impressed with the quality of storytelling.

The Telugu movie audience is treated to an exciting film in theatres today – Tillu Square. It’s a sequel to the 2022 hit film, DJ Tillu. Directed by Mallik Ram, the romantic crime comedy stars Siddhu Jonnalagadda as Bala Gangadhar Tilak aka DJ Tillu, Anupama Parameswaran as Lily, Prince Cecil as Shannon Gonzales, Muralidhar Goud as Tillu’s father, Neha Shetty as M Radhika, Cvl Narasimha Rao as Lilly’s father and Raj Tirandasu as Jonathan.

Tillu Square was released on March 29 and received mostly positive reviews. The story was penned by Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Ravi Anthony and successfully impressed the majority of the critics. Even the fans and movie-going audience have shared their positive reactions on social media platforms. It would be interesting to see how much the film earns with its theatrical run.
