Roz Browne

Boston native Roz Browne has been making people laugh for decades. You may have seen her on Curb You Enthusiasm playing opposite Larry David or in Judd Apatow's critically acclaimed FX comedy series Baskets. The sassy performer, whose credits include This Fool, Bob hearts Abishola, The View, 5 O'Clock Funnies, Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen, America's Funniest People, Comedy Time and Que Locos Comedy Jam has assembled an extensive body of work. She was an instant favorite with viewers in her first stand-up appearance on BET's Comic View. As a former Certified Public Accountant and through her prior employer some of her clients included Lou Rawls, Natalie Cole and Earth, Wind & Fire. This work proved too confining for this dynamic performer. So, as any middle child of a large family seeking attention would do, Roz took to the stage at a local stand up comedy club and has never looked back. Studying with Groundlings Founder Gary Austin, Roz honed her writing and creativity while perfecting her persona and delivery. Roz was selected by Mitzi Shore, owner of the World Famous Comedy Store, to become a regular at her club, adding her name on the "wall" along side Richard Pryor, George Carlin and Whoopi Goldberg.
