After graduating from Pittsburg State University, Chris Watson began working on his first film, Mob Daze. Watson co-wrote and produced the comedy, featuring Bruce Baum. The following year he made his directorial debut with the low-budget cult film Zombiegeddon, which he also wrote, produced, and acted in. Based on the success of this film, Watson was soon tapped to produce the films Slaughter Party, Minds of Terror, and Evil Ever After. In addition, Watson has worked on a handful of films by other directors in various capacities, including casting director, screenwriter, and second unit director, and has even appeared on the hit Showtime series Family Business. Most recently he completed production on the film Dead in Love with Eric Edwards, Kristin Minter, Tony Todd, and Margaret O'Brien. Dead in Love won the audience award at the one film festival it was entered in to against nearly 200 other films and the Grand Goldie Award at the Goldie Film Awards. Chris also co-wrote the books "Reflections on Blaxploitation" with David Walker and Andrew J. Rausch, "Dwarfsploitation" with Brad Paulson and "Dirty Talk" again with Rausch (released in Spring 2011). Watson has also written for Inside Kung-Fu Magazine, B-Independent, Strictly Splatter, East Side Boxing and numerous others.
