After being crowned Miss Lebanon in the late 1960s, she starred alongside Ahmed Ramzy in the movie Love in the Year 70, after which she appeared in other films including The Fox and the Chameleon with Farid Shawky in 1970. This was the first appearance of the Lebanese artist in Egyptian.
