Trivia

  • In January 2024, she gave birth to her first child at the age 43.
  • Has two scars on her forehead, which she got as a child. She got the first one after hitting her head on a cupboard while jumping around with a space hopper; the wound had to be treated with several stitches. Not long after that, a kindergarten friend visited her at home, and when the doorbell rang she got so excited that she ran down the stairs and hit her head again.
  • Her mother was a social worker and her father was a banker.
  • Was about to be born in Cologne, where her family lived and where she grew up, until her mother decided to drive to Bergisch Gladbach at the last minute. To this day, she often jokingly complains about the fact that she was born in the same city as Heidi Klum.
  • In 1999, she started an internship at channel RTL for the show Freitag Nacht News (1999), where the show's co-producer Hugo Egon Balder later encouraged her to take acting lessons. In 2006, she had her big break on that show, especially due to her impressions of Bill Kaulitz, frontman of the German band Tokio Hotel. She remained on the show until its cancellation in December of the same year.
