Giorgio Consolini(1920-2012)

As a very long-lived singer with a well-set voice, he continued his activity in his old age although with less frequency. Together with Claudio Villa, Luciano Tajoli, Luciano Virgili and Narciso Parigi he was one of the most famous melodic singers in Italy and abroad; unlike his colleagues mentioned he perhaps preferred to give greater emphasis to the melodic line of the song rather than to his own personality.
