There are a lot of ginormous creatures in the Star Wars universe, and Doctor Chelli Lona Aphra and Luke Skywalker are no stranger to them. Along with Rynn Zenat, Luke and Aphra just faced a giant Klyff'wat on the planet Lehanis: a giant, deformed, rat-like creature with wings coming from its back that makes the Krayt Dragon look pleasant.
In Star Wars: The Battle of Jakku - Republic Under Siege (2024) #2 by creative team Alex Segura, Stefano Raffaele, Alex Sinclair, and Joe Caramagna, Doctor Aphra arrives on Lehanis, where Luke Skywalker and Rynn Zenat are hunting for an ancient Jedi relic. Aphra warns them that the relic they are hunting for is a fake, planted by Grand Moff Ubrik Adelhard and his Acolytes of the Beyond. While Aphra relays her message, they are ambushed by the Klyff'wat.
The creature is absolutely gigantic, forcing Luke to ignite his lightsaber in order to survive.

Star Wars Outlaws lets players explore one of the franchise's most recognizable planets, Tatooine. Here, players can deal with the likes of the Hutt Cartel and visit some iconic locations such as Jabba's Palace, the Lars homestead or Mos Eisley Cantina, among others. One recognizable part of the planet was shown in the game's story trailer: the Sarlacc Pit, as protagonist Kay Vess and her Merqaal companion, Nix, could be seen sliding into its mouth.
[Warning: The following article contains spoilers for one of Star Wars Outlaws' side quests, The Hotfixer.]The Sarlacc is a large, carnivorous invertebrate that first appeared in 1983's Return of the Jedi, with Jabba the Hutt attempting to send Luke Skywalker to his death there, and many fans were likely looking forward to exploring it further following this tease. However, it's possible to miss this for those just following the story, as it doesn't tie into Jabba's campaign or any of the campaign missions on Tatooine, but rather into a side quest called The Hotfixer.

Luke Skywalker's comic stories expand beyond the films, showcasing the moments in his journey to becoming a Jedi Master (and beyond) that would otherwise go unseen. Luke faces significant challenges, from battling the Grand Inquisitor and facing his dark side doppelganger, to failing Ben Solo. Luke's impactful moments include purifying a red Kyber crystal, training Cade Skywalker, and preserving his Jedi legacy.
Luke Skywalker is the ultimate hero of Star Wars, the living embodiment of galactic hope in the face of tyranny and evil. Luke later goes on to be an accomplished Jedi Master, and even creates his own academy in the hopes that he can help shape the next generation of Jedi. While Lukes feats of galactic heroism and later efforts to create a better future are, indeed, noteworthy, the story of Luke Skywalker is far more extensive than that - especially in the comics.

Bore Worms are the new threat in the Star Wars universe, immune to lightsabers, unlike Krayt Dragons. Mace Windu and Azita Cruz face off against these lightsaber-resistant creatures while on a crucial mission. The introduction of Bore Worms could potentially change Star Wars canon forever, leaving a lasting impact.
Warning: Contains Spoilers for Star Wars: Mace Windu #2! Krayt Dragons are monstrous creatures that should absolutely be feared in the Star Wars universe, but Mace Windu just faced another ‘sand worm-esque’ monster that puts the Krayt Dragon to shame for one very important reason in particular: they’re immune to lightsabers. Krayts may be strong, but there’s no evidence to suggest that a lightsaber wouldn’t injure one, which is something a Bore Worm cannot relate to.
In a preview for Star Wars: Mace Windu #2 by Marc Bernardin and Georges Jeanty, Mace Windu is on a mission to extract a...
