Lydia Li is a bilingual Chinese actress based in Los Angeles. She was born in Shenzhen, China in a family of Doctors. Her mom is a Pediatrician and her dad is a Dermatologist.
Growing up, Lydia has always been passionate about expressing her artistic ideas. She enjoys painting, sketching, and sewing. Her childhood passion was fashion design and she participated in a youth fashion show in Shenzhen, in which she modeled and showcased pieces of her own design.
She moved to Los Angeles at age 17 to attend University of Southern California's BA Theatre program. In college, she took part in a stand up comedy showcase in Westside Comedy Club in Santa Monica, and was a cast member of USC Sketch Comedy Live. She also worked as a Mandarin translator for USC School of Dramatic Arts' Summer exchange program.
She plays the leading role Ying Yue in El App, an international feature film that was filmed in Dominica Republic and Boston.
