Jeff Probst on Survivor 50: “It’s hard to get me more excited than I already am” But S50 Pulled It Off
Image
From epic blindsides and backstabbing alliances to unforgettable Tribal Councils, Jeff Probst has seen it all. But even after hosting Survivor for more than two decades, the milestone Season 50 has left him speechless. In a recent interview, he added that it’s hard to get him more excited than he already is, but this milestone season pulled it off.

Now, that’s a big statement coming from someone who’s been the face of the franchise since day one. And as we’re inching closer to Season 50, Probst’s energy proves that fans are in for something truly special.

Survivor 50 begins with a bang, and Jeff Probst is all in

Survivor 50 has officially kicked off, and just like everyone else, even Jeff Probst can’t hide his excitement. After filming began in the Mamanuca Islands of Fiji, the host gave fans a thrilling behind-the-scenes update. According to Probst, the new...

Survivor 47's Premiere Is A Captivating Mess In The Most Entertaining Way Possible
Image
Within the Survivor fan community, there are people who've watched and ranked every season and observers who are still figuring out which seasons to watch first. As a result, each premiere episode of Jeff Probst's beloved reality show has to pay tribute to what came before while also treading a new path.

On top of that duality, Survivor's producers know that fans have high hopes that each season will feel dangerous and include great players. Fortunately for fans and everyone who works on the show, Survivor 47's premiere episode was captivating on multiple levels and showed the season has a lot of potential.

Survivor 47's Cast Is Full Of Big And Entertaining Personalities

From the outside looking in, it is hard to imagine how difficult it would be to cast a season of Survivor. After all, each season needs to have a slew of people with interesting personalities,...

Survivors Sean Rector Was Outraged By How The Show Treated Him
Image
During the fourth season of Survivor, Jeff Probst's beloved reality TV show introduced fans to Sean Rector and Vecepia Towery. Since then, there have been many seasons for fans to rank, lots of great players, and far too many people who've been medically evacuated from the show.

Now that new fans have to figure out which Survivor seasons to watch first, many people have forgotten about Vecepia and Sean. However, that isn't the fault of the fans who no longer think of Sean and Vecepia. Instead, that is proof of why Sean deserved to be outraged by how he and Vecepia were treated by Survivor.

Why Sean Rector Should Have Played Survivor Again

When most Survivor fans think about the show's earliest seasons, it is the first three that come to mind. After all, the first three seasons were won by highly memorable players like Richard Hatch, Tina Wesson,...

These Survivor Players Had The Toughest Road To Victory
Image
Since Survivor is a highly demanding reality TV show, everyone who wins the game struggles. After all, everyone who competes on Jeff Probst's show has to worry about avoiding being medically evacuated and competing against great players. However, once fans are past the point of figuring out which seasons to watch first, it becomes clear that some people have a harder time on Survivor than others.

Similar to how some seasons are better than others, some Survivor winners have to go through a lot more to win. Looking back at Survivor's history, there are some winners that I believe had a lot harder path to win their season.

Why Vecepia Towery Had One Of The Hardest Paths To Winning During Survivor: Marquesas

In the history of Survivor, there have been several players who've been misunderstood. One perfect example of that is many Survivor players don't realize what Vecepia Towery...

5 Old-School Survivor Stars Who Deserve A Second Chance
Image
There have been many returning players on Survivor over the years, but there are several deserving old-schoolers who have yet to get a second chance at the game. "Old-school" Survivor players are considered those who played in the early seasons of the show. Though there isn't an exact cutoff between the old and new-school game, the pre-Survivor: Gabon standard definition seasons are typically considered to be the old-school era.

Survivor has held many returnee seasons with various themes, like All-Stars, Fans vs. Favorites, Game Changers, and Winners at War. There's only been one Second Chance season, however, Survivor: Cambodia in 2015 was the only season so far to feature a fan vote to decide the cast, and the pool of returning players consisted of contestants who had only played the game once. There are still many one-time players who should get another shot.
