Gellért L. Kádár

Kádár L Gellért is an actor, who was born on 20 December 1995 in Transylvania, Romania. He is known for Patthelyzet (2020) and Rise of the Raven. He is a dual citizen, both Romanian and Hungarian. He had studied at the university of arts from Targu Mures (in Hungarian Marosvásárhely) in the Hungarian department. After the university he had been working for 5 years at the national theatre of Marosvásárhely, in the company of Tompa Miklós. He recently wrapped filming as the main-lead in the international TV-Series "Hunyadi: Rise of the Raven", that shall be streamed worldwide in 2025, produced by Robert Lantos. After he got the main character, János Hunyadi in Rise of the raven, he had to move to Budapest. Currently he lives in Budapest. He speaks in Hungarian and English but he can learn easily lines in several languages. In the Rise of the raven he speaks Italian, Czech, Turkish, Serbian.

During the filming, he has got a lot of stunt skill, including horseback riding, fighting with all sort of weapons like swords, axes, mace, bow and arrow. He started his horse-riding from scratch, and he had done only himself all of the action scenes in the rise of the raven, without stunt double. During the filming he developed with the horses and he realized that the riding between horse and man not just a work, but is a therapy. Today he is a brave and confident horse-rider.

He doesn't like to refer to himself only as an actor. He is a calisthenics athlete in addition to acting. The sport has been part of his everyday life for over 10 years, so he has got a good base level of fitness and got a lot of skill at the calisthenics, including: Handstand, human flag, planche, muscle up etc. For him the sport is really a way of being that grounds him, calms him down, it's a kind of meditation. In addition to all this he loves piano playing, and plays a lot of instrument. He loves to paint, to play chess, to dance, to sing and is always on the lookout for challenging work.
