Ryan de Villiers is a versatile actor based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and Cape Town, South Africa. A graduate of the prestigious Drama Department at Rhodes University, Ryan began his career with a successful run in theater, earning critical acclaim and top honors, including the Fleur du Cap and Naledi Awards-South Africa's highest accolades in the performing arts-for his portrayal of Miss Trunchbull in Matilda the Musical (International Tour).
In 2019, Ryan gained international recognition for his lead role in the critically acclaimed film Moffie, which earned him nominations for CineEuphoria's Best International Supporting Actor and Best International Ensemble. His screen credits also include notable roles in The Kingdom (2021), Blood of a Countryman, and most recently, a starring turn as John Dillinger in the upcoming docudrama, Wanted: Dead or Alive, directed by Emmy-nominated filmmaker Paul Epstein.
