      Was exposed as a fraud during a press conference in February 2014. Composer Takashi Niigaki claimed Samuragochi was not deaf and could neither read nor write sheet music. Niigaki was secretly paid to compose music for Samuragochi since 1995. Samuragochi did not deny the claims and publicly apologized.
