In a new interview, the 77-year-old Hagar revealed that he doesn’t want to tour anymore, and has even told his manager to not book any extended outings. However, it appears Hagar would do more residencies if he enjoys playing in Vegas.

Wolfgang Van Halen has reacted to a recent rant in which he was verbally assaulted by David Lee Roth for incidents that allegedly occurred when they were both in Van Halen.

Back in January, Diamond Dave posted a video to his YouTube channel that essentially served as a long voice-over monologue insulting Wolfgang. The clip started with Roth suggesting that the late Eddie Van Halen’s son benefitted from nepotism, and then went on to accuse the young musician of trying to throw Roth’s guests out of Van Halen shows. Throughout the entire rant, Roth continuously referred to Wolfgang as “this fuckin’ kid.”

In a new interview with the radio show The Morning X With Barnes & Leslie (as transcribed by Blabbermouth), Wolfgang was asked why he thinks Roth would spew such “vile” venom toward him. He responded, “I guess I’m honored he even thinks about me as much as he seems to.

A memoir by Alex Van Halen titled Brothers is set for an October 22nd release via HarperCollins.

The 384-page hardcover autobiography comes as a surprise given how private Alex has been since the passing of his brother Eddie Van Halen in 2020. HarperCollins will also be publishing a 720-minute audiobook and an ebook edition in addition to the physical hardback. Pre-orders are now ongoing.

The recording took place on May 3rd, 2022, at the Henson Recording Studio in Hollywood, California. The track features Al Estrada (guitar), Ryan Wheeler (bass), and Francis Valentino (drums).

Previous songs that have come out of that session include “Unchained,” “Everybody Wants Some!!,” “You Really Got Me,” “Dance the Night Away,” “Panama,” and “Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love.”

The Summer 2024 outing will hit 28 cities across the US and Canada, kicking off July 13th in West Palm Beach, Florida, and wrapping up on August 31st in St. Louis. Former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony was an eyewitness to the violent winds that brought the Maui wildfires through the now-decimated town of Lahaina.

Anthony was vacationing with his wife in nearby Kaanapali when the wildfires began to sweep across the western portion Hawaiian island. The bassist shared a video they shot while driving through the streets of Lahaina mere hours before it was engulfed in flames.

The footage is eerie, to say the least, as Anthony’s vehicle creeps through the old Maui town. It captures the soon-to-be-destroyed businesses and residences still standing as palm trees bend and sway in the high winds, which start to rip shingles off rooftops. The Walking Dead: Dead City Episode 3

My initial comparison between The Walking Dead: Dead City and Escape from New York was, at first glance, only surface level. There are similarities, clearly, but I had no idea that The Croat (Zeljko Ivanek) was having gladiator fights in a non-union store-brand equivalent of the Octagon. Now it’s clear that Dead City is a riff on Escape from New York, and as far as things to pattern your show after, you could do worse than John Carpenter. He’s the master of genre flicks, after all; for all the emphasis on human drama and soap opera emotions, The Walking Dead universe is a survival horror universe at its very core, and touches like this show a willingness to embrace that.

Of course, you have to have something in between all the special effects and action sequences.

Negan is back. Following the end of The Walking Dead last year, the Walker universe continues to expand with new series centering on some of the most popular characters from his original show, including Negan and Maggie, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan.

The duo meets again in Dead City, the first spinoff since the series finale. This project will be joined by two others, one starring Norman Reedus' Daryl Dixon, and another that will mark the return of Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira as Rick and Michonne, while fans also wait for the outcome of Fear the Walking Dead arriving later this year.

In Dead City, Maggie must unexpectedly ally with Negan, despite their complicated past, in order to win back her son from isolated zombie-infested Manhattan. Although of course, the walkers are not the only danger they will face.

The first episode of Dead City, titled "Old Acquaintances," begins with a harrowing full shot of New York City’s devastated state during the post-apocalypse. The opening scene immediately sends Cohan's Maggie back into action after she encounters a group of walkers while surveying the city from afar. In a recent interview with EW, Cohan revealed that the sequence wasn't the originally intended opening of the spinoff. Cohan confirmed it was supposed to start with the bar scene, which featured Maggie hunting down Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Negan. They decided to change it better to set the series’ tone for the audience.

For the first time, viewers will have the chance to explore post-apocalyptic Manhattan in The Walking Dead: Dead City, which is set to feature the most disgusting walkers in the franchise's history. Speaking with SFX Magazine, Jorné confirmed that New York City is the perfect "pressure cooker environment" to challenge strong characters like fan-favorites Maggie and Negan.
