Chef Tobias Dorzon, a Food Network star and former NFL player, was shot in an apparent robbery in Maryland.
The Hyattsville Police Department posted a statement on social media stating that they were looking for five people involved in the incident.
“We now have descriptions of four out of the five suspects in the shooting on Nov. 5 that wounded two,” read the statement shared on Facebook.
Authorities say that there was an attempted robbery of “a man and woman as they returned from dinner,” adding that both were shot.
Police state that they were both taken to the hospital and “it’s believed that their injuries are not life-threatening.”
According to a report from Wbal-tv, surveillance footage from the incident “shows a person crawling behind a car to hide while the assailants approached another person lying on the ground. Rapid gunfire and a woman’s screams are also heard.”

Food Network announced that Guy Fieri's Tournament of Champions IV will join its spring 2023 lineup. Tournament of Champions debuted in 2020 and featured some of the nation's most celebrated chefs facing off in culinary competitions. Hosted by Guy, the tournament challenges the chefs from both the East and West Coasts. The show's first three winners were Brooke Williamson (season 1), Maneet Chauhan (season 2), and Tiffani Faison (season 3).
