Leak Lyda

LEAK Lyda was born on 03,July,1983 at Kompongthom province, Cambodia. He is a top class director who has directed numerous feature films, producer and script writer in Cambodia. He very talented with film industry but because there is no school which is specific about film so he decide to learned IT instead. In 2005, he graduated at Num University ( MIF ). In 2007 he works in Sky high production ( Thailand Company ). In 2011 manager and MV director at Rock Production. In 2012, he is a CEO of LD Picture production. He first became known to audiences and achieved a cult following with his directorial debut film ( Arb wear helmet I,II, 2012 ). All of Lyda's films have been Cambodian productions. There are around 20 films which make by LD picture but in 2019, The Clock Spirits Awakening was receive award from Cambodia National film festival ( The best film of the year 2019, The best director of the year 2019, The best film editor of the year 2019, The best sound editor of the year 2019, The best actress and actor of the year 2019 ). Also received award from Horror Bowl, INDIA ( The best film of the year 2019, The best director of the year 2019 Mr. Lyda LEAK, The best actor of the year 2019 Mr. Piseth SORN ). In 2020, he is a director in project Red Wall but because of covid-19 situation everything was stuck. In 2022, he just completed project Grade 12E gerne horror, and the movie is still processing in post-production.
