- Lex Stephenson is an actor, writer & filmmaker, born in Kingston upon Hull, East Yorkshire, of Scots-English descent.
Stephenson trained in partnership with the Royal Shakespeare Company and Hull Truck Theatre, while studying English Literature, History and Law. He graduated from the Brighton Academy in 2021. He is an actor & facilitator with the National Youth Theatre and has been selected for mentorship with the Netflix Ignite programme.
Stephenson made his screen debut in Rank Gong award-winner, Dirty Nails (2013) and appeared in BBC One drama series, Age Before Beauty (2018). He starred as 'Ollie Morrell' in international award-winning action comedy, Low Rollers and appears in Sumotherhood, directed by Bafta Winner, Adam Deacon.
Stage credits include; originating the role of 'Rory' in rock musical 2 Dumb, for West End composer Stuart Brayson and performing with Theatre Royal Haymarket. Stephenson was recently nominated for a What's On Stage Award as WWII hero, Ken Cooke in the premier production of How To Be Brave.
Also a writer and filmmaker, Stephenson is in pre-production for Hermit Crab Man.
