Phil Lott

Phil Lott is an Emmy-winning producer, director, cinematographer, and co-owner of AMPLE Entertainment with filmmaker and former Sundance, AMC, and X-Box executive Ari Mark. With a long track record of setting the looks and tone of new shows and series, Phil has been involved in some of the biggest nonfiction series, including Locked Up Abroad, Undercover Boss, Cold Case Files, and Shark Week.

Alongside creating and producing a wide range of series across multiple genres at AMPLE, including Roku hit 'Morimoto's Sushi Master', 'Murder in the Heartland' now in season 9 for Max/ID, 'The Hungry Games: Alaska's Big Bear Challenge' for Peacock, and the epic 'Ancient Empires' for History, Phil and Ari have recently directed premium documentary series for Netflix and HBO, including 'The Invisible Pilot' with Adam McKay, the upcoming 'This is the Zodiac Speaking' for Netflix, the recreations for Netflix #1 hit 'Jailbreak: Love on the Run', and unannounced new series for Netflix in 2025.

As a cinematographer, Phil shot SXSW hit, 'Kelly and Cal' starring Juliet Lewis and Cybill Shepherd, 'Indian Tales' for Oscar-winning director, Asif Kapadia, and second unit on Jen McGowan's hit film 'Rust Creek'.
