Sepideh Yadegar

Sepideh Yadegar is an award-winning writer and director who was born in a small town in Iran and lives in Vancouver, BC. Sepideh's films have been screened at numerous film festivals around the world, including the Calgary International Film Festival, Vancouver Women International Film Festival, Vancouver Short Film Festival, Anatolia International Film Festival, 18th in the Palace Film Festival and many more. She was selected as one of the five female filmmakers for the Whistler Film Festival Women in Focus program. In 2022, DehDeh Films Production was born from Sepideh's deep desire to tell female-led stories that explore the experiences of being the other and seeking belonging.
