Kenn Hoekstra was born in Rhode Island and grew up in central Wisconsin with his three older sisters and his younger brother. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in English Writing with a minor in History from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater (1995). He designed 3-D video game levels for Raven Software's Take No Prisoners, Hexen II: Portal of Praevus, HexenWorld and Soldier of Fortune: Gold Edition and served as Project Administrator for Heretic II, Soldier of Fortune, Star Trek: Voyager - Elite Force, the Elite Force Expansion Pack, Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix, Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, X-Men Legends and Quake IV. Kenn worked for Pi Studios in Houston, Texas from 2005 - 2011 where he worked as a Designer on Call of Duty 3 and as a Producer on Halo 2 for Windows Vista, Call of Duty: World at War, Mercenaries 2: World in Flames, Bomberman Live: Battlefest, Bonk: Brink of Extinction and Quake Arena Arcade.
