  • In April of 2010 Wade was on his way to an audition when he discovered Roslyn Busch, 72, overturned en-flamed car during the morning commute on Laurel Canyon Boulevard in the hills of Studio City. Travis jumped inside the burning vehicle and pulled Rosz free to safety. Travis sustained severe burns and cuts from the glass but Roslyn was saved and miraculously uninjured. In 2011 Travis was honored by the City of Los Angeles with a "Local Hero" Certificate of Appreciation by City Council Members Paul Krekorian, Gil Garcetti Jr. & Former LA Chief of Police Chief Willie Parks.
  • Filming the CBS show, Vegas (2012), Dennis Quaid landed on Travis's hand during a fight scene and broke his hand.
  • His mother Daphne went into labor while watching Les Dents de la mer (1975) at a movie theatre in Los Angeles. It took Travis 30 years to meet the man who was responsible for that shock on the set of La Guerre des mondes (2005), Steven Spielberg.
  • Family from his mother's side is from Manchester, England. Family from his father's side is from Chicago, Illinois.
  • His great-grandfather had to change his name from Wade Williams to William Wade when he moved from the meat district in Chicago, Illinois to Los Angeles, California, because of an altercation he started with the infamous Frank Nitti which led to a hit being put out on him.

  • Read at the table read for the role of Troy in Sam Mendes's military drama Jarhead: La Fin de l'innocence (2005) but lost out when 'Peter Sarsgard' took the offer.
  • Travis is also Inventor who spent a year away from acting to form the company Sin Cera. The revolutionary invention in the candle industry will be made known to the public in 2018 and will save thousands of lives.

  • Was engaged to model/actress Jasmine Dustin from (May 2005-May 2008).

Dean's grandson Alex Martin & Travis have been acquaintances for nearly two decades, and Travis introduced Alex to his gorgeous wife, Megan Kimmel, back in 2012.

  • Lived with model Kaitlyn Howe (Kennedy) from October 2011 to April 2014.
