Anthony Sayo is an LA-based actor born and raised in the Philippine-province of Bulacan. His mother, Elena Sayo, is a pediatrician, and his father Rodolfo Sayo, is a pharmacy owner. He grew up in a household with five other siblings.
At a young age, he was influenced by his older brother Joseph who is big into fantasy films, 80's action movies, and wrestling entertainment. These early influences have instilled in him a passion for acting at a very young age.
Sayo attended the University of the Philippines, and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Politcial Science. His parents wanted him to pursue a career in law. However, as he matured and grew older, his love for cinema only grew stronger - and with it his decision to pursue a career as an actor.
His first training ground for acting is the International Academy of Film and TV in the Philippine island of Cebu. In 2019, he flew to America to pursue acting in Los Angeles, and continued further education in the performance arts in the Los Angeles Performing Arts Conservatory in Santa Monica.
He is now based in Los Angeles, and has notable performances in several independent projects like Kaiketsu (2021), and Mantis Club (2022).
His projects slated for release this 2025 include "Seven Minutes," "Love Eternal," and "Murmur."
