Now as the series comes to a close with the third and final season, it stands to reason that the stakes would be higher than ever, especially given the events of the Season 2 finale.

Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin‘s Bailee Madison joins the third and final season of Hulu’s The Hardy Boys as Drew Darrow. The official trailer for the upcoming final season reveals Madison’s character is going to get involved in the gang’s last case.

Rohan Campbell stars as Frank Hardy, Alexander Elliot is Joe Hardy, Anthony Lemke plays Fenton Hardy, and Bea Santos is Aunt Trudy. The cast also includes Keana Lyn as Callie Shaw, Adam Swain as Chet Morton, Cristian Perri as Phil Cohen, Riley O’Donnell as Biff Hooper, and Alli Chung as Jesse Hooper.

Additionally, season three stars Krista Nazaire as Belinda Conrad, Atticus Mitchell as J.B.Cox, and Joe Dinicol as Agent Driscoll.

The third season premieres on July 26, 2023 on Hulu.

It’s time for David Harbour to take a turn portraying Father Christmas. Known for other fatherly roles like Jim Hopper in Netflix’s “Stranger Things” and Alexei in Marvel’s “Black Widow,” the actor takes on a Christmas night crime in addition to Santa’s yearly duty of delivering presents across the entire planet in one night in the R-rated actioner “Violent Night.” John Leguizamo plays the bad guy — Scrooge.

From director Tommy Wirkola, the film has a runtime of 1 hour and 52 minutes. Within that time frame, David Harbour’s Santa Claus embarks on his mission to drop off presents, when John Leguizamo and his cronies interrupt the regularly scheduled program by attempting a robbery of a very rich family.

In 1988, there was an R-rated action film that took place during Christmas time. There's good news and bad news for those who enjoy The Hardy Boys TV series. Hulu and Ytv in Canada have renewed the series for a third and final season. Filming on the eight-episode season is currently underway in Canada, and it will arrive on Hulu sometime in 2023.

The story revolves around the investigations of young brothers Joe (Alexander Elliot) and Frank Hardy (Rohan Campbell ) and is based on the long-running children's novel series. Other cast members include Keana Lyn, Adam Swain, Cristian Perry, Riley O’Donnell, and Krista Nazaire. Bailee Madison (Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin) is also joining the series in a guest starring role, per Variety.

The show came from Corus Entertainment studio Nelvana and Lambur Productions, and debuted on the streamer in 2020.

Disney Plus has swooped on the international rights for “The Hardy Boys.”

The mystery series, which airs on Hulu in the U.S. and Ytv and StackTV in Canada, was sold by Corus Entertainment-backed producer-distributor Nelvana to Disney Plus in select international markets, and will land on Star.

Star is the sixth, adult-oriented tile on Disney Plus that launched earlier this year, and which serves as a home for much of the Hulu catalogue outside the U.S. The one territory where “The Hardy Boys” will remain on Disney Plus is Latin America.

Both season 1 (13 x 60′) and season 2 (10 x 60′) of the Daytime Emmy-nominated show — which was developed and produced in Canada by Nelvana and Lambur Productions, in association with Corus Entertainment — will debut on the Mouse House platform in 2022.

“The Hardy Boys” is based on the books by Franklin W. Dixon and features the principal characters in their teen years.

Saidah Ekulona (Better Call Saul) is set for a recurring role opposite Chanté Adams on Amazon’s A League of Their Own reboot series. The hourlong series, from co-creators Abbi Jacobson and Will Graham and Sony Pictures TV, is described as a fresh approach to Penny Marshall’s 1992 Columbia Pictures movie of the same name about the real-life All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. The reboot will follow new characters who embody the spirit of a generation of women who dreamed to play professional baseball. Ekulona will play Toni Chapman, Maxine (Chante Adams)’s mother, a successful entrepreneur and the unofficial mayor of the small but growing black community in Rockford, Illinois. She has big dream for her daughter, but Max has dreams of her own. Ekulona recently recurred on AMC’s Better Call Saul, as well as Chuck Lorre’s CBS sitcom Bob Hearts Abishola. She is repped by Gersh and Trademark Talent.

The Hardy Boys has been given the green light for a second season. Canadian broadcaster Ytv and Hulu have renewed the mystery series which is based on the classic children's book series by Franklin W. Dixon. It is a truth universally acknowledged that every few years, a new on-screen adaptation of The Hardy Boys or Nancy Drew will arrive. Since the franchises’ first appearances on the page, we’ve all been collectively fascinated by the stories of spirited teens solving crimes that range from neighborhood theft to international espionage. But this year is perhaps the first time we’ve seen two appear so close to one another.

Hulu’s 2020 The Hardy Boys adaptation is the fifth time the famous sleuthing siblings have appeared onscreen. The CW’s Nancy Drew, which is set to return for its second season in January, is the girl detective’s ninth, and that’s only if you don’t count several failed pilots that never moved forward. We’re clearly obsessed with these kids, likely because many of us grew up reading stories of their adventures, and wishing we ourselves could take part in them.

First published in 1927, The Hardy Boys series of books created by Edward Stratemeyer has sold more than 70 million copies and been translated into more than 25 languages. The novels have been revised, rebooted, and reimagined at least four times since their debut and the eponymous characters have appeared in everything from comic books and TV shows to video games and cartoons.

Possibly the real mystery here is why there hasn’t been a television adaptation of this story on-air since the late 1990s, particularly when remakes and reboots have been all the rage for years. The CW currently has a hit Nancy Drew series on the air, and shows like Riverdale, Pretty Little Liars, and Veronica Mars have spent years reinforcing the idea that teenagers are surprisingly great at solving crimes.
