Biography

An award-winning copywriter and an internationally published essayist, Nimisha made her debut as a Screenwriter in 2019 with the critically acclaimed feature Posham Pa and short Sunny Side UPar. Nimisha started out in advertising, having worked with agencies like Ogilvy and Mather, Creativeland Asia and Tonic Worldwide. She then switched to content creation, working in the core teams of OTT platforms like Arré India and Zee5. She's originally from Allahabad, in Uttar Pradesh, India and credits her time in the small town, with its array of characters, as a big reason for wanting to be a writer.
