Biography

Vijay's life journey so far has been quite the ride. Vijay started martial arts when he was 5 years old and has been actively fighting ever since; he's had various titles to his name in Mixed Martial Arts, Judo, and Jiu Jitsu. Vijay has also been a personal trainer for over 20 years, and owns and operates a company named Aspire Higher Health & Fitness where he leads online boot camps and motivational and lifestyle strategies sessions. In his youth he was clinically obese and had a very hard road ahead of him. However, Vijay was always one who gladly accepted being an underdog because he absolutely loves a challenge. One of Vijay's favorite quotes is "Throw me to the wolves and I'll return leading the pack" because that is exactly how he aspires to live his life.

Vijay had a battle against stage 4 cancer when he was 21. He went through Chem, radiation, and multiple surgeries but ultimately everything he had worked very hard to build was stolen by this disease. He went into the hospital at 250 lbs and had to stay there for 3 months and by the time he left, multiple surgeries later, he weighed 121 lbs. It was a very dark time after Vijay was sent home and he almost didn't think he was going to survive. By the grace of the powers above, and the love of his family and friends, he found the strength to fight back. Vijay was inspired by all of the people who supported him and began his journey to rebuild. After Vijay found himself again, the challenge reinvigorated him. He went back to fighting, he went back to training and he took his life back, and loved showing people why there is nothing they can't do if they want it.

After conquering cancer and the fight world Vijay decided to take on the challenge of modeling and acting. Vijay's modeling work has been published several times and he has walked in many international runway shows. While acting and modeling Vijay has continued to run his personal training business helping his clients to overcome their challenges and be the very best version of themselves. As a personal trainer Vijay has been in the health a fitness field for over 20 years and still going strong as he continues to help people in their personal health and growth, using his own story as a way to help guide others through times of difficulty.

One of Vijays more uncommon interests is in the paranormal field. He has been involved in paranormal investigation since 1998 working on and running various teams over the years. He continues to research the world of the paranormal as a hobby to this day.
