Dragon Ball Reveals '90s Gohan Concept Art for Its Most Controversial Series to Date
Image
Dragon Ball's official website frequently releases old and rare art from the franchise's long history, with much of this being focused on Akira Toriyama's original manga series. However, it also occasionally showcases more anime-specific artwork, as was the case with a recent reveal.

After being a fan-favorite main character of Dragon Ball Z, particularly in its later story arcs, Gohan's role in the anime's sequel series was infamously reduced. The protagonists of the controversial Dragon Ball Gt are Goku, Pan and Trunks, while Gohan is relegated to a background role in every major storyline. Now, resurfaced early concept art, deleted from the Dragon Ball site after 24 hours and 'returned to the vault,' has revealed the plans for Gohan's appearance in Dragon Ball Gt.

Image
Cbr Anime Week is brought to you by Hulu Animayhem

For more than two decades, One Piece has been the most popular anime and manga series in the world. Fans have met hundreds of characters over the course of the series, and the majority of those characters are pirates. One Piece does not kill characters very often, but when a character does die, it is usually an emotional affair. That being said, several strong pirates have been killed in one way or another.

Most of these pirates were Devil Fruit users, and several of them could also use various types of Haki. The majority of these pirates died in actual combat, but one pirate was killed entirely by accident. The world's most notorious pirate technically allowed himself to be killed by the World Government. Either way, most of these pirates died in memorable ways.
