Elshan Amaan

Elshan is an Iranian born and German raised actor, who grew up in a Farsi and Azeri/Turkish speaking household with an English teaching father and mathematics-teacher mother. A City of Westminster College London graduate in Music Technology, started acting at Lichtspiel Theater in Cologne, Germany when he was invited by producer/director Susanne Eifler to come and try for the role of 'Reza Yagin' in her production Sanduhr, Sonne, Quadrat. A call to adventure he could not pass on. After just little than over a year he auditioned and was cast in the award winning movie - 'The Weather Inside' - working along side Oscar winner Jim Broadbent and lead-actress Maria Furtwänger - travelling across countries to film. Since then, he has appeared in English and German film and stage productions. He is based in London, UK.
