Below Deck Down Under is back, baby, and the Season 3 premiere came in hot.
Captain Jason Chambers returned in all his glory with a new super yacht and several new crew members.
The premiere was packed full of chaos, like maggots or weevils infesting the galley, a slew of misinformation, and a clashing crew from the start.
New chief stew Lara Rigby and Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph butted heads on night one over dinner service communication.
Meanwhile, deckhand Johnny Arvanitis has an ego that we can easily see will cause trouble, especially with Harry Van Vliet.
X (formerly Twitter) was on fire with opinions about the Below Deck Down Under Season 3 premiere, which was literally better than the entire last season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht.

The producers of Below Deck Down Under did something unprecedented in Season 3: They cracked down on crew drinking. There were already issues with the franchise and drinking in the past. It came to a head in Season 2 when there was an attempted sexual assault on camera.
Changes Being Made
Captain Jason Chambers spoke to Entertainment Weekly about this major change. The crew will drink less this season, but Chambers assures fans that there will be plenty of drama. Chambers and his crew handled a serious situation in the last season. Former bosun Luke Jones undressed and slipped into bed with third stew Margaret Sisson, who was unconscious after a heavy night of drinking. Luke refused to open the cabin door until producers intervened.
Former chief stew Aesha Scott heard about the incident unfolding. She immediately informed Chambers about what was happening. Chambers removed Jones from the yacht and fired him the following day.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht star Chase Lemacks is setting the record straight on a rumor Aesha Scott shared this week.
During a Watch What Happens Live appearance, Daisy Kelliher and Aesha were asked what went wrong between Danni Warren and Chase.
Neither of them really knew what happened, but they had heard rumors from the Below Deck world.
While Daisy just said she heard rumors, Aesha spilled some tea.
“Apparently, they were on a sailboat, and things were really dark and toxic, and then they weren’t paying the sailboat repairman, so then they had to flee town, and it got all really dark and twisted, and they broke up,” Aesha claimed.
It didn’t take long for Chase to get wind of what Aesha said, and he wasted no time telling the real story.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht star Daisy Kelliher has set the record straight on her boatmance with Keith Allen.
The deckhand and the chief stew heated things up in the Season 5 finale, leaving the Parsifal III sailing yacht with a plan for Keith to visit Daisy in London.
As Monsters and Critics previously reported, Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans were sure Keith and Daisy had become a couple after the show wrapped filming.
It turns out that fans were partly right and partly wrong.
Daisy appeared on Watch What Happens Live to dish all things Below Deck Sailing Yacht with Andy Cohen and Below Deck Med star Aesha Scott.
In true Andy fashion, he wanted all the dirt on things with Daisy and Keith.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans wonder what happened between Danni Warren and Chase Lemacks after cameras stopped rolling.
The finale for Season 5 of the hit sailing show ended last night with Chase and Danni holding out hope for the future.
They didn’t leave Parsifal III together but weren’t broken up either.
The relationship update before the show ended revealed they called it quits after a year of dating.
No reason was given, and since we won’t get a Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 reunion, fans wonder what happened between them.
Let’s take a look at what we know.
What happened between Chase and Danni after Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5?
As Monsters and Critics previously reported, Danni dissed Chase during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live a couple of weeks ago. That was a clear sign the two were not together, and things did not end well.

It’s almost time for the return of Below Deck Down Under and hunky Captain Jason Chambers.
Fans of Below Deck Down Under have anxiously awaited Season 3 after a long hiatus.

It also featured one new crew member, Johnny Arvanitis, getting angry and punching a wall.

It’s a new year, which means new seasons of the Below Deck franchise are hitting Bravo airwaves all year.
Although we must wait a while for Below Deck Med Season 10, fans are buzzing about who will return.
We know Aesha Scott and Captain Sandy Yawn will return for more Below Deck Med.
Now Joe Bradley has revealed if he will return for his second stint on the hit yachting show.
Below Deck Med fans know Joe caused a slew of trouble on Season 9 with his womanizing ways, bouncing between Bri Muller and Elena “Ellie” Dubaich.
So, are fans in for another season of Joe playing the stews?
Let’s take a look at what we know.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht stars Daisy Kelliher and Keith Allen have fans talking.
The deckhand and the chief stew struck up a little fling on this season on the sailing show.
Keith and Daisy have done some smooching but nothing else, as far as we know.
The season finale is on the horizon, with only one episode left.
However, eagle-eyed Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans are pretty sure Daisy and Keith are dating off-screen.
It’s all due to a trip to New York City and Keith’s appearance on Watch What Happens Live.

Below Deck Down Under season 3 has been highly-anticipated, but after some comments from Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph, it appears the show could sink without Chief Stew Aesha Scott returning. Throughout Below Deck Down Under’s run, Aesha has been the only Chief Stew working with the crew. While Captain Jason Chambers and Aesha’s working relationship has been praised by Below Deck viewers to an extent that has made them somewhat uncomfortable, the pair do have a great rapport and work well together in a professional sense. With Aesha leaving Below Deck Down Under behind, things are changing for the crew.
Although Aesha is only one piece of the puzzle for the crew of Below Deck Down Under, her presence was a calming one for the team as they moved through their first charters. Aesha’s shorthand with Captain Jason was great, but it’s possible that there were some other...

Lara Rigby from Below Deck Down Under season 3 appears to be a promising replacement for former Chief Stew Aesha Scott. The popular Bravo show, Below Deck Down Under, has rapidly become one of the most iconic spin-offs in the franchise. It has captivated and entertained fans over the last two years, which is why they are eagerly anticipating the premiere of season 3 in February 2025. The first-look trailer looks impressive, showcasing the significant changes within the core team, including the introduction of several new faces, with Lara standing out as the new chief stewardess replacing Aesha Scott.

Below Deck Down Under fans are bracing for Season 3 without fan favorite Aesha Scott.
Even though Captain Jason Chambers is back with two Season 2 alums, it won’t be the same without the chief stew.
The dynamic of Aesha and Captain Jason made the Below Deck spin-off a mega-hit.
Aesha, though, has moved on or rather gone back home to where it all began for her on Below Deck Med.
In fact, she helped give Below Deck Med a much-needed boost of positivity, with some fans even starting to like Captain Sandy Yawn more because of Aesha.
Despite her new gig, the rumor mill has been ablaze lately about Aesha’s appearance on Below Deck Down Under Season 3.

Below Deck Down Under season 3 is coming soon, but the series has a brand-new location that’s been confusing fans who are excited for the typically Australian show. Although Below Deck viewers are likely still watching Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5, there’s only a few weeks left until the premiere of Below Deck Down Under season 3. While many have been worried about the future of the Aussie iteration from the famous franchise, Below Deck Down Under appears like it’s going to embrace a season of change. After losing Chief Stew Aesha Scott, other things began to change quickly.

Below Deck Down Under’s upcoming third season will bring back several beloved yachties, but one series staple is absent. Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph and Deckhand Harry Van Vliet are set to return for their second charter season alongside Captain Jason Chambers. Season 3 brings the departure of Chief Stew Aesha Scott, who had worked seamlessly alongside Captain Jason for the show’s entire run. The show thrived during Aesha’s tenure, even receiving an Emmy nomination. But I’m convinced the show will continue to succeed without her, with season 3 possibly being its best yet.
Aesha made her debut as a stew on Below Deck Mediterranean before transitioning to Below Deck Down Under. Below Deck Down Under chef, Tzarina Mace-Ralph, has revealed her thoughts on the entertainment value of season 3 without former Chief Stew, Aesha Scott. Chef Tzarina debuted in Below Deck Down Under season 2, and proved to be a quality addition to the show. Now, Tzarina is set to appear again in Below Deck Down Under season 3, and she's made some interesting comments about it.

The new trailer for Below Deck Down Under season 3 suggests the upcoming season will be the most dramatic yet, especially with the departure of fan-favorite Chief Stew Aesha Scott. A new Chief Stew, Lara Rigby, will step in to fill the void left by Aesha's exit. Many are hoping she will be as entertaining to watch as Aesha was, or maybe even more.
The trailer also hints at growing tensions between Lara and Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph, who joined the show at the start of season 2. Aesha Scott from Below Deck Mediterranean has an interesting personality and a bright future ahead of her. The Tauranga native made her reality TV debut in 2019 when she joined Below Deck Mediterranean season 4 as the second stewardess, alongside Hannah Ferrier as the chief stew, Anastasia Surmava as the third stew, and June Foster as the replacement stew. Aesha enjoyed filming her debut season and made many friends. However, she also disagreed with certain Below Deck crew members, including former Bosun João Franco.
Aesha returned to Below Deck Mediterranean on The Wellington in season 5, appearing in episode 13. She took over as the second stew after Captain Sandy Yawn promoted the former second Stew, Christine "Bugsy" Drake, to chief stew. Aesha later jumped ships and joined Below Deck's popular new spin-off, Below Deck Down Under, in 2022, where she was chief stew. Many viewers were surprised by her leadership style and her close relationship with Captain Jason Chambers.

It’s a new year, which means new seasons of Below Deck shows will be coming in hot.
Bravo has hit ratings gold with the hit-yachting franchise.
Mondays have become Below Deck night, with new episodes year-round.
That will be the case again in 2025 because, with four shows, there’s plenty of Below Deck to play out.
Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 has taken over Bravo airwaves.
However, the sailing show is almost over, and it will be time for the rest of the Below Deck franchise to air throughout the year.
Here’s the Below Deck schedule for 2025
Below Deck Down Under Season 3 will finally air once Below Deck Sailing Yacht wraps its run. Captain Jason recently teased the show as he gave an update on his melanoma diagnosis.
The hunky captain and crew will get us through the cold winter months, taking us well into the spring.

Below Deck has dominated Bravo for years, and while villains are an important facet of the franchise, there are some cast members who should retreat from the spotlight in 2025. Every season has heroes and villains, but many iconic Below Deck villains have overstayed their welcomes. Whether facing sexual misconduct allegations or stirring up trouble onboard, these villains have done too much damage to stay.
Below Deck villains, including Gary King, exhibit bad behavior, although they typically add shock value, which is sometimes entertaining. That being said, some villain edits are controversial, like Daisy Kelliher being painted as a producer plant in Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5. While not everyone will agree, these cast members would be better off exploring new career opporunities in 2025.

Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher has starred in Below Deck Sailing Yacht since season 2, but her disastrous run on the latest installment could finally result in her firing. The Irish yachtie replaced Jenna MacGillivray and, overall, she's been a much better Chief Stew than her chaotic predecessor. Known for her no-nonsense leadership style, Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 has revealed flaws in Daisy's management abilities, which could lead to her dismissal from the show.
Gary King was accused of sexual misconduct by former Bravo employee Samantha Suarez after filming season 4, but he wasn't let go by the franchise. Instead, he was given a slap on the wrist by production and reduced screen time in Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5. However, it seems like production is trying to shift the villain edit from Gary to Daisy in an attempt to erase his wrongdoing over several seasons. She has struggled with guests, her underlings,...

Tumi Mhlongo was the chief steward on Below Deck Mediterranean season 8, but what is she up to now? While Tumi was the chief stew on Below Deck Med, this wasn't her first introduction to the Below Deck franchise. She first appeared in Below Deck Down Under season 1 as the second stew to Aesha Scott, the chief stew. Tumi clearly learned a lot from Aesha and was ready to take her career to the next level: becoming a chief stew herself. After a season in Australia as a second stew, Tumi finally entered her chief stew era on Below Deck Med.
However, Tumi's leadership skills didn't go over well with her team or fans watching at home. Natalya Scudder, Tumi's third stew, didn't love how her chief stew would often talk down to her or give her attitude, which the viewers noticed. While Tumi was simply trying to assert her role on the boat,...

The Below Deck franchise has been making some good casting decisions that translate well into a positive reception by fans. Below Deck premiered in 2013, and the Og show has 11 complete seasons behind it. Below Deck Mediterranean was the franchise's first spinoff, and it debuted in 2016. Below Deck Sailing Yacht followed in 2020, with Below Deck Adventure and Below Deck Down Under following in 2022. Below Deck Down Under is still a network spinoff, but Below Deck Adventure was a one and done hit.
Over the more than a decade of time on TV, the Below Deck umbrella has amassed millions of fans and continues to be one of the biggest networks in the reality TV world. That said, it has come this far because the casting has been excellent, with many now-household names coming out of Below Deck. Notably, Captain Lee Rosbach, Kate Chastain, Captain Sandy Yawn, and Hannah Ferrier were all...
