Most recently led 50+ FTEs as the passionate production studio head for the Very Local streaming app, where he co-created, developed, and executive produced 75+ inspiring original TV series and 500+ half-hour cost-effective unscripted and documentary episodes for FAST and AVOD consumption on rapidly growing OTT/streaming platform. Grew MAUs and FAST stream viewership 5x YoY in '23 and nabbed millions of app installs.
As Founder and Head of Very Local and Hearst TV Brand Studio, drove tens of millions in revenue leading a world-class branded content team and product that I pioneered for the company responsible for delivering 500+ campaigns & 1.5k+ short-form native videos to advertisers over seven years. I've successfully led and executed hundreds of B2B and B2C custom marketing campaigns working directly with clients and agencies while training and galvanizing 800+ Hearst sales professionals.
Michael got his start in entertainment as an actor and host, appearing in national commercials for Nintendo, Dr. Pepper and Virgin Mobile, as a daily host at Yahoo, and as a special on-camera correspondent for MTV.
