Max Rovo is a writer, director and producer, known for ETA (2024) and Champagne & Charades (2019). He grew up in the Bay Area, a kid of 90's cinema. At the age of twenty, Rovo was cast by Buddy Butler to play lead roles in SJSU theater productions of Bury the Dead and True West. He cut his teeth in NYC advertising as a copywriter and worked as a PA on indie film sets and TV shows, all while writing scripts on the side. Over time, Rovo developed a distinct voice for thrillers.
