Sibyl Moholy-Nagy was an architectural historian, critic, and teacher, through her numerous writings and lectures, she became an outspoken presence on the postwar architectural scene in the United States. She played a pivotal role in the growing criticism of modernist architecture, and she was one of the driving forces behind the increasing interest for the urban and historical dimensions of architecture.
