  • Was supposed to be the referee to run down during the infamous 'Montreal Screwjob' against Bret Hart. He was supposed to replace the 'unconcious' Earl Hebner who at the last minute got up and called for the bell, denying Bret Hart his WWF Title and naming Shawn Michaels as the new champion.
  • Is a ref on Raw, after being traded from SmackDown! for ref Nick Patrick. (January 2004)
  • He has been an employee of the WWE for years, and is often seen refereeing many different matches in the same night. He will follow a match wherever it goes, keeping in the best of shape.
  • Was the senior referee for Smackdown!.
  • Once competed in a 6-man match on smackdown!.
  • While growing up in New Jersey, was neighbors with the Marella family (Gorilla Monsoon & his son, Joey Marella). They got him started in the wrestling business as part of the WWF ring crew, before working his way up to being a referee.
  • With the release of WWE referee Earl Hebner, Chioda is now the senior referee in World Wrestling Entertainment. (July 2005)
