Nick Walker(IV)

Nick Walker is a television personality, program host, voice-over artist, writer, singer/songwriter and meteorologist. born in Fort Worth, Texas. He graduated from the University of North Texas in Denton, working nights as a radio DJ and weekends singing in coffeehouses. He began his television career in TV news in San Angelo, Texas, then in Austin, Texas, Wichita, Kansas and Seattle, Washington. While a television news reporter/program host at KIRO-TV in Seattle, he studied meteorology and transitioned to weather reporting. Since 1999 he has been a meteorologist and anchor of various live programs on The Weather Channel. He is also known for his on-camera narrations of science documentaries, and under the nickname Weather Dude, a singer, writer and performer of educational children's music.
