Ex-sister-in-law of Barbara Puco, Tracey Defeo and Nissa Burkhalter.

Was shot with a 35 caliber lever action Marlin 336C rifle by her older brother, Ronald DeFeo. Dawn shot at close range as well (less than 3 inches) in the bottom of her neck. The bullet exited through the left ear.

Granddaughter of Rocco DeFeo, Antoinette "Nettie" DeFeo, Michael Brigante, Sr. and Angelina M. Brigante.

Younger sister of Ronald DeFeo and older sister of Allison DeFeo, Marc DeFeo and John Matthew DeFeo.

Niece of Private, Private, and Michael Brigante Jr.

Her father's uncle was Pete DeFeo, a caporegime in the Genovese crime family.

She was 5,0" to 5,5" and 170 Pounds.

Dawn Theresa DeFeo (18) b. July 29th, 1956 in Brooklyn, N.Y. (King's County) She tragically lost her life during the early hours of November 13th, 1974 along with her parents Ronald DeFeo Sr. (43) Louise DeFeo (42) her younger sister Allison DeFeo (13) and her younger brothers Marc DeFeo (12) and John Matthew DeFeo (9).

She, like her sister Allison, was more on the girly side, as she too probably liked flowers because she had her own flower wallpaper and a pink blanket. She likely likes to listen to music in her spare time as she had a record player with two moderately sized speakers, she, like Allison, also had a stuffed animal sitting in a chair.

She went to Amityville Memorial High School.

Attended St. Martin of Tours Church at 35 Union Ave. in Amityville.

Grandniece of Peter DeFeo.

She has Italian heritage.

She was attending the Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School.
