Jana Morrison is an award-winning multidisciplinary performer, actor, and artist. Jana is best known for her leading role in SYFY's Astrid and Lilly Save the World, which was nominated for Best Comedy at the Canadian Screen Awards in 2023.
Jana's passion for performance has earned her the Pro Art Early Career Artist Award in 2020, as well as a nomination for Best Lead Actress at the UBCP/Actra Awards in 2022 for her role as Astrid. Both a talented actor and performer, Jana has appeared in NBC's Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist, multiple Hallmark movies and television series, independent films, local stages across the country, national and international stages.
Jana began her career in entertainment at a young age in her hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba and is an alumnus of Canadian College of Performing Arts. Since then, she has continued to hone her skills in acting, performing, singing, dancing, voice acting, and mentorship. Jana's otherworldly talent is matched only by her advocacy; as a Filipino-Canadian, Jana is a proud supporter of IBPoC and queer performing artists. Jana believes in using her platform to build meaningful communities, spotlight important causes, and empower others in self-love, confidence, and authenticity.
