Five Nights at Freddy's adapts the eponymous Scott Cawthon video game franchise into its first feature-length movie in an expected new franchise. Josh Hutcherson stars as Mike Schmidt, a security guard by trade who picks up a new job at an abandoned pizzeria as he battles for custody of his little sister after their parent's deaths. However, once he starts working his overnight shifts, he discovers Freddy Fazbear's Pizza's animatronics come to live at night, and he ends up fighting for his life when his sister ends up trapped in the restaurant with him.
Five Nights at Freddy's divided critics and audiences, but it was a box office success, making $291.1 million on a $20 million budget, and its critical reviews never hurt its success. As a result, Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is coming, with an expected Christmas 2025 release date, which should excite fans of the movie and the games on which it is based.

One banana, two banana, three banana, Gore! The cult-favorite animal rock-band from Hanna-Barbera’s 1968 The Banana Splits Adventure Hour variety program is back with a blood-spattered vengeance as a young boy named Harley and his family go to a taping of The Banana Splits TV show, which is supposed to be a fun-filled birthday for young Harley. But things take an unexpected turn… and the body count quickly rises.
It would seem Warner Bros., through production company Blue Ribbon Content, have taken a leaf out of Universal’s Dtv playbook and commissioned a series of direct to market, low-to-mid budget movies that capitalise on existing franchises. Whereas Universal created a myriad of sequels to popular action franchises like Death Race...
