20 ‘Survivor’ first boots we desperately want to see play again
Image
“Survivor” players know that only one person can win the game, but it always stings to be the first one eliminated. The pain of being booted first from your season has to be a difficult one to get over, especially for those who really wanted to play the game. First boots are often targeted because of age or challenge performance or etiquette around camp, and it’s sad to see people’s torch be snuffed after only three days on the island. Some early vote-offs make such an impression, however, that they are remembered even today. Above you can scroll through our gallery (or click here for direct access) of 20 memorable “Survivor” first boots, listed in order of appearance. We hope they get another chance to play again one day.

Survivor Season 3: Africa — Where Are They Now?re Are They Now?
Image
Survivor 43 recently premiered with a brand-new cast recently, and it is looking like an exciting season. This new era of Survivor makes fans feel excited about the future, but also nostalgic for the past. The show has been on for so long and so many contestants have tried to win the million dollars and the title of sole survivor.

One of the most memorable seasons was Survivor: Africa. 16 Strangers competed in Kenya for the ultimate prize. The cast consisted of a lot of interesting characters from around the United States. It has been about 20 years since these castaways graced fans' television screens, so what have they been up to since?

Wendy Diaz in Survivor : États-Unis (2000)
‘Survivor’ 38: Did Wendy cluck up? And why does the existence of chickens often create a ruckus among castaways?
Wendy Diaz in Survivor : États-Unis (2000)
You would think that Manu tribe member Wendy Diaz had enough to worry about after she injured her ankle last week during a reward challenge on “Survivor: Edge of Extinction.” But she was more concerned about the fate of the reward – namely a clutch of chickens. But while Dan “The Wardog” DaSilva was practically smacking his lips at the prospect that meat might be in reach, Wendy was plotting to save the poultry’s necks. “The players signed up for this game, not the chickens, so why should they be penalized,” Wendy explained, which is a bit odd since she is neither a vegetarian nor a vegan and normally eats chicken back home. We must invoke another bird — cuckoo!
