Find Me Falling tells a story we’ve seen many times before. Harry Connick Jr. stars as John Allman, a washed-up rocker who moves to Cyprus seeking solitude after his music career fizzles. But just like in countless romantic comedies, John can’t escape connecting with others.

He’s introduced to the scenic island and its people through a chance meeting with an old flame, Dr. Sia, played by Agni Scott. Their rekindled romance serves as the predictable plot engine, navigating well-worn arcs of will-they-or-won’t-they that are easy to map from the start.

While the Mediterranean backdrops are undeniably gorgeous, the familiarity of John’s journey makes it difficult to fall deeply invested in his tale of love and self-discovery on all too familiar shores.

All My Friends Are Dead, which is now going by the full title #Amfad: All My Friends Are Dead, went into production a year ago with Dunstan at the helm, and now it’s aiming for an August 2nd theatrical, digital, and VOD release. Slasher cinema gets a candy-coated and raucous new spin as a group of young friends staying at an Airbnb are picked off one by one by a killer whose elaborate murder set pieces are inspired by the seven deadly sins in our latest production, #Amfad: All My Friends Are Dead, which had its World Premiere at last month’s Tribeca Film Festival.

The trailer was released today for the new slasher from Saw IV-3D writer and The Collector director Marcus Dunstan. It teases a fun, accessible, splatter-filled slasher inspired by 90s horror.
